FAQs
Two carat radiant cut lab grown diamonds are a wonderful spot. A 2 carat radiant measures approximately 8.2mm x 6.8mm (elongated) or 7mm x 7mm (square). The 70 brilliant facets create intense crushed-ice sparkle across the larger face. Two carats gives an above-average impression without looking too big. When looking for 2 carat radiants, look between 1.9 to 2.2 carats.
A 2 carat radiant creates a substantial, impressive presence. The elongated version (8.2mm x 6.8mm) appears visibly longer than a 2 carat round. The square version (7mm x 7mm) creates a bold geometric presence. The 70 facets fill the larger face with intense crushed-ice sparkle.
G or H color, VS2 clarity, balanced proportions. At 2 carats, the radiant's 70 facets create even more intense crushed-ice sparkle, masking color and inclusions exceptionally well. Choose between square and elongated. When looking for 2 carat radiants, look between 1.9 to 2.2 carats for best value.
The difference between F and G color is virtually impossible to detect with the naked eye in a pear cut, especially since brilliant-cut faceting masks subtle color differences. Once set in a ring, both grades appear equally white. Choosing G color over F in a 2 carat pear can free up budget for a better cut or larger stone.
