VS2 is the best value clarity for a 1 carat heart lab grown diamond. The brilliant faceting makes VS2 eye-clean. It is the lowest grade with consistent eye-clean quality. The savings versus higher grades fund finding a heart with the excellent symmetry that is the single most important quality factor for this romantic shape.

VS2 is eye-clean in the vast majority of 1 carat heart lab grown diamonds. The modified brilliant faceting disperses light effectively. In rare cases, a centrally positioned dark inclusion near the cleft could be marginally visible. For most 1 carat hearts, VS2 is reliably eye-clean.

G or H color, VS2 clarity, 0.90 to 1.10 length-to-width ratio, and excellent symmetry with matching lobes, defined cleft, and centered point. Symmetry is the defining factor. A well-symmetrical G/VS2 heart outperforms a poorly shaped stone at any grade.

VS2 clarity is in most shapes eye-clean in heart cut diamonds. Minor inclusions visible under 10x magnification but not to the naked eye in most cuts. At 1 carats, the stone size keeps inclusions manageable. The heart cut's brilliant-cut faceting helps mask minor inclusions.
