FAQs
H is good at 2 carats. Two carat lab grown diamonds are a wonderful spot. H costs less than G with minimal visible difference. At 2 carats, the larger oval face may show H's warmth very slightly more than at 1 carat. In yellow or rose gold, H is invisible. In white gold, acceptable for most observers.
H at 2 carats may show very subtle warmth, slightly more detectable than at 1 carat due to the larger face and tip areas. The brilliant faceting helps. Most observers will not notice. In warm metals, completely neutralized.
Yellow and rose gold work best at 2 carats. White gold works for most. When looking for 2 carat ovals, look between 1.9 to 2.2 carats for best value. The elongated shape flatters the finger in every metal.
A 2 carat orange oval natural diamond looks best in solitaire prong settings, east-west settings, and three-stone designs. At 2 carats, the stone has good presence, so both minimalist and detailed settings work well. The orange hue is among the rarest fancy colors, adding collectible appeal. Check for the bowtie effect, a dark shadow across the center of poorly cut ovals. All Do Amore rings include free lifetime maintenance covering inspections, polishing, cleaning, stone tightening, rhodium plating, and resizing.
