2 Carat SI2 Lab Grown Diamonds

SI2 at 2 carats carries significant risk of visible inclusions. Two carat lab grown diamonds are a wonderful spot, but the larger face-up area makes SI2 inclusions more prominent than at 1 carat. Visible inclusions are probable in most shapes at this size. Individual evaluation is essential.

In some brilliant cuts with favorable inclusion placement, a 2 carat SI2 can be acceptable. However, the odds of eye-clean quality decrease at 2 carats. The larger face makes inclusions more visible. Setting style and inclusion position matter more at this size.

SI2 is a budget option requiring very careful evaluation at 2 carats. For guaranteed eye-clean quality, VS2 (brilliant cuts) or VS1 (step cuts) is the standard recommendation. The larger size makes clarity more impactful.
