FAQs
A radiant cut lab diamond combines the elegant rectangular or square outline of an emerald cut with the brilliant-cut faceting of a round diamond. This hybrid design produces 70 facets that deliver exceptional fire and scintillation while maintaining a sleek, geometric silhouette. Radiant cuts have trimmed corners, making them more durable than princess cuts and a versatile choice for nearly any setting style.
Radiant and emerald cuts share a similar rectangular silhouette, but their faceting is completely different. Radiant cuts use brilliant-style faceting that creates intense sparkle and hides inclusions well, while emerald cuts use step-cut faceting that produces a hall-of-mirrors effect and reveals inclusions more easily. A radiant cut is the better choice if you want maximum sparkle in a rectangular shape, while an emerald cut suits those who prefer clean, subtle elegance.
Radiant cut lab created diamonds hide inclusions exceptionally well thanks to their crushed-ice brilliance pattern, so VS2 clarity is typically eye-clean and offers excellent value. For color, G or H grades appear white to the naked eye in most settings. If set in yellow or rose gold, you can go as low as I or J color since the warm metal tone masks any slight warmth in the diamond.
Do Amore carries radiants in both square and rectangular proportions, giving you shape flexibility with the brilliant sparkle that step cuts cannot match. All Do Amore lab diamonds are grown, cut, and polished using renewable energy (solar and hydro power).
