Every piece of Do Amore jewelry begins by not hurting the world. All our natural diamonds are either ethically sourced in Canada, recycled to eliminate additional demand, or accompanied by a blockchain ledger showing every hand your diamond passed through, proving your stone is truly conflict-free.
We also offer sustainable lab-created stones and guarantee all precious metals are recycled to eliminate the environmental impact of mining. Since March 2022, we carry absolutely no Russian diamonds and continue to urge the industry to follow suit.

Responsibly Sourced from Canada, Never Russia
We primarily purchase diamonds and gemstones from suppliers who source from responsible Canadian mines where they face some of the strictest requirements to ensure they never support conflict or unlawful labor practices and always follow international best practices to protect the environment. These ethically mined Canadian diamonds and stones are then cut and polished in India. Since March 2022, we no longer offer any Russian diamonds and have demanded that the industry follow suit.

Accompanied by Blockchain Ledger
We also source natural diamonds and gemstones from responsible mines in Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa. While these ethical diamonds and stones from Africa are guaranteed conflict-free, they also come with proof in the form of a blockchain ledger that highlights every hand your stone passed through—from mine to ring.

Recycled and Previously Owned
To eliminate additional demand for mined stones, we also offer natural recycled diamonds and gemstones. Recycled diamonds and stones have been removed from previously owned jewelry and then recertified for sale. These are a sustainable and stunning way to showcase your stone without further impacting the environment.
Sustainable Lab-Created Diamonds & Gemstones
The ultimate jewel of sustainability, our lab-created stones make a statement without leaving a mark on the environment.
With the precise makeup of a natural diamond—pure, crystallized carbon—and an identical appearance, lab-created diamonds make for a beautiful and sustainable option. Rather than mined from the earth, these stones are grown in a lab that recreates the natural crystallization process billions of years quicker, and without harming the earth.
Similar to lab-created diamonds, sapphires, rubies, moissanite, and other precious gemstones can also be created sustainably in a lab, yielding the exact composition and appearance as their natural counterparts.
Recycled Precious Metals
Our precious metals—including gold, platinum, and palladium— are recycled from already-existing sources, not mined.
Precious metals mining is environmentally destructive, and many mines operate without concern for the people who live within the community. Every Do Amore ring and piece of jewelry is made from recycled precious metals, all sourced from suppliers that don’t work within the international mining community.
We are also involved with NoDirtyGold.org, a campaign that works to end destructive gold mining practices and has established a set of “golden rules” to help retailers like us stay true to the mission.
Sustainable Ring Boxes
Our beech wood ring boxes are the full package—and the perfect way to present your ring.
Southland Beech trees are sustainably harvested from New Zealand’s native forests — the trees can only be harvested under a sustainable forest management plan. Each box is made from a solid piece of timber, is designed to have the same grain in the lid and base, and is finished with a stunning natural satin wax.

The birth place of diamonds in 1866.
Namibia
The Namibian government, along with DeBeers, owns much of the diamond mining industry in Namibia. A great emphasis is placed on providing educational and financial support for communities within the Karas region.
Botswana
In Botswana, diamonds mines are committed to protecting the ecosystem of the Kalahari Desert as well as conserving water, reducing their effect on wild life, and promoting environmental sustainability. Mining diamonds is crucial to the entire country's economy.
Canada
Canadian diamonds are mined in accordance with Canada's environmental laws, which are among the strictest in the world. Our Canadian diamonds come from the Diavik and the Ekati Diamond Mines, which produce some of the most eco-friendly natural diamonds that exist.

India
Grown by the cutters themselves, India is constantly improving their technologies to grow the best lab diamond every time. And, we purchase carbon credits for all manufacturing and shipping impacts – making them carbon neutral!
Belgium
Lab diamonds are beautiful and the most eco-friendly option! Our Belgian lab diamonds are grown using solar power!
The United States
Grown using the latest technology (hydro and solar power,) US grown diamonds require no mining of the Earth at all.

North Carolina
We exclusively work with Charles & Colvard Forever One moissanite, which is a naturally occurring mineral also known as silicon carbide. Moissanite is a brilliant and fiery gem that is 100% eco-friendly— it is created in a lab in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

The United States
All the precious metals we use are recycled, which means they come from a mixture of old jewelry or reclaimed industrial products. They are then refined to produce gold, palladium and platinum of the highest quality.

Jarrah wood is one of the world’s most sustainable woods. Sourced from Australia and New Zealand, this wood is harvested while preserving soil, water, and air quality. Each box is handmade there by a small family-owned business.

Montana
U-S-A! Montana’s rich history of sapphire mining goes back to the late 1800s. The miners in Montana have a passion for both their land and the incredible sapphires they source from it.
Thailand
Mining for gemstones has evolved greatly over the years in eastern Thailand. Only recently did the country see a positive resurgence in sapphire mining, which produces top-quality yellow, green and blue gems.
Sri Lanka
“Mine-to-market” is the mentality of Sri Lankan sapphire mining. It is a harmonious blend of tradition and teamwork (miners operate in co-ops called “karahaula”) that produces some of the highest quality sapphires in the world.
